Mr. Matheson attended University of California in Berkeley in the 1960's. He studied Architecture, Engineering and Computer Operations Research. This was his foundation for the Points of Light art work that has evolved through the many years he has practiced as an architect.

His Points of Light art is intriguing to the viewer because the symbols are embedded and the form and movement is seen through the effect of the colors. His work has been described by collectors as having "simplicity and elegance". With the integration of the light box, the circular images appear to be illuminated and moving. These recent series are called "Connections To The Universe." His work can be viewed at www.pointsoflightart.com once the site is completed.

He has exhibited his work in California, at Arches Gallery in Healdsburg and at the Ratliff Gallery in Sedona. Mr. Matheson's work will be exhibited at the Four Season's Hotel in San Francisco in Nov. 2007 for a show benefitting Tibetan Aid Project. He may be contacted for future exhibits and aquisitions. | |
